It was in 1989 that Produit de l’érable St-Ferdinand B started out in the retail trade with a 2,500-tap maple bush. Bruno Boutin and his wife, Diane Marcoux, are the owners of this family business which has grown over the years. Their son, Jonathan Boutin, became Vice-President in 2010. This company continues to expand and grow, and it is not over, as there is no shortage of ideas for new products. Even a maple sugar technology with a capacity of 1200 to 1500 tonnes per year was developed by Bruno. This company currently offers 9 different granulations of maple sugar, and before it is bagged, all the sugar is passed through a metal detector. In addition to bulk maple sugar, this team makes about a few million maple sugar candies and to further diversify its product offering, a bottle oven has been purchased.

At its factory, located in Ireland, Quebec, you can visit its store where customers can buy maple products 7 days a week or you can buy them directly on its online store.
