An Improved 8th Edition for the 28-DAYS SOBER CHALLENGETM
The Fondation Jean Lapointe is proud to announce the 8th edition of the 28-Days Sober ChallengeTM from February 1 to 28, 2021. This large-scale fundraising campaign aims to raise $750,000 to increase awareness and make prevention workshops among 80,000 young people from more than 400 schools across Quebec about the risks associated with the consumption of alcohol, cannabis and other drugs, for example addiction problems, mental health and school dropouts.
“We realize that mental health is a major issue today. It is essential to take a well-deserved break for yourself and young people to avoid health and addiction problems, underlines Philippe Angers, CEO of the Fondation Jean Lapointe. Moreover, a Léger survey published last April shows that 50% of Quebecers are more anxious and therefore more at risk of developing problematic habits.”

The 28-Days Sober ChallengeTM is still available to everyone with three registration options: bronze (alcohol-free week), silver (alcohol-free weekend) and gold (28 days without alcohol).
