An initiator and leader in the world of tartars, Küto, a Quebec company, stands out for its menu featuring raw proteins, paired with fresh and trendy products. Following the enthusiasm of tartar lovers, the concept has evolved rapidly in recent years and has led to the opening of several restaurants throughout Quebec. To date, the franchise network includes several locations, openings are going well, and growth is meteoric. Each Küto restaurant has three distinct sales experiences: the dining room, the take-out counter, and the delivery. This last one is done through external partners. Küto is a Quebec family business that promotes simple values: quality, freshness, speedy service, and family. We consider all franchisees and employees to be members of our beautiful and large family. Working closely and listening to our franchisees are a priority for the head office team. This proximity allows us to grow faster together, as a team.
Our Structure
The Küto head office was moved in 2020 to a new building located in Delson, which is adjacent to the premises of its food manufacturing kitchen as well as its distribution warehouse. The warehouse has been expanded to double up the storage space to better serve Küto’s growing network. Several employees work there to prepare the recipes of signature sauces, as well as their famous croutons and products of all kinds. Every week, our delivery trucks distribute quality, handmade products to our restaurants. Product standardization is at the heart of our success. Head office is also the hub of research and development, and we are constantly on the lookout for market trends and increasingly large and strong partnerships.
In addition to distributing the signature products in Küto restaurants, we entered the retail market in May 2021 by launching a separate line of ready-to-eat tartars in grocery stores. This complementary offer will take a share of the market for tartar lovers who wish to enjoy a quality product in an all-inclusive formula, at any time. Küto signs its notoriety there.
Küto stood out too by announcing an eco-friendly shift in 2021 by launching its line of biodegradable and compostable containers. Also, by eliminating paper in its restaurants, among other things with menus and wine lists. Furthermore, all training manuals are now in electronic version. Once again, Küto demonstrates its commitment to an eco-responsible environment.
Our working methods in restaurants have proven their worth; operating a Küto is simple and efficient. Training manuals, standardized recipes, distribution of homemade and standard products by the head office, online training platforms, marketing tools, sharp management of social networks and day-to-day support ensure the success of each franchisee.
