Take Part in the 28 Days Sober Challenge

For a 10th edition, the Fondation Jean Lapointe is proud to announce the return of the 28 Days Sober Challenge (in February 2023). This campaign aims to encourage people to take a break from alcohol for one month to highlight the benefits of this break on their physical and mental health.

Through this major fundraiser, the Fondation Jean Lapointe invites all of Quebec to join its movement and participate in order to raise $1.5M to continue its mission in support of addiction prevention. This amount collected will fund prevention programs for thousands of youths, and to educate them and raise awareness of the problems associated with drug and alcohol use, hyperconnectivity and gambling.

Customize your 28 Days Sober Challenge

Participants will be able to take on the challenge solo or join/build a team, in addition to choosing one of the three registration possibilities: bronze (alcohol-free weeks), silver (alcohol-free weekends) and gold (28 days without alcohol).  

Also, the first 2,000 participants who donate $128 will receive a box filled with alcohol-free products, including Hickson (gin and beer) alcohol-free products and an alcohol-free Oshlag Gin to support them during the Challenge, thanks to Groupe Triani (exclusive alcohol-free partner).
